Came here yesterday for the first time and I think I found my new favorite place!!! Staff is so kind and so helpful. Very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you guys for making a great place :)

Such a cool store with a huge selection of records. The owner is so nice and friendly. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the employee with salt and pepper colored hair had a really bad attitude. He was so rude. If someone is buying something from you, be nice!! I do hope his day eventually got better. 😬

My last visit to Atlantic Sounds was back in 1990 when I was attending school in Daytona Beach, so returning 36 years later absolutely blew my mind. I could not believe how much the store has expanded over the years, including an annex two doors down that houses thousands of CDs. The amount of inventory here is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. As a music collector, it honestly felt like I had died and gone to heaven. No matter what genre you enjoy, there is an incredible amount to explore. I was especially excited to find a large selection of leftover Record Store Day titles, including two rare releases that I was thrilled to add to my collection. I also came across many original pressings of 1980s LPs and 12" singles, along with a huge number of CDs in the annex, including several out-of-print titles that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Everywhere I looked, there were hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Atlantic Sounds is the kind of record store where you could easily spend an entire day — or several days — browsing and still not see everything they have to offer. This a really solid store to buy vinyl from, they have a huge selection over their main store and a neighboring store, I always fine gems there, and the staff is pretty nice and they are helpful, and knowledgable. I have been going there a year now. 10/10 for me and my young music enthusiast family!

came to daytona for a couple of nights whilst visiting orlando and upon googling “record stores”, THIS was the place to visit. it did not disappoint. such a huge collection of records, CDs and posters. staff were incredibly friendly too. only picked up one record, but i could easily have purchased loads. they had everything you can imagine!
